This adapter is made to simply slot into the Tesla mount cavity to take the full lifting weight of the car and prevent any damage to the car or battery.. DO NOT jack / raise the car without using this adapter or similar made specifically to suit the TESLA range of car models.

A MUST HAVE FOR TESLA MODEL 3: Many of you may know, there are specific jack points for the Model 3. Without an adapter, you may risk damaging the battery of the vehicle when raising it to rotate tyres.
Protect battery and paint from damage: The top surface of each jack pad has a rubber washer for premium paint protection and preventing damage to the side skirts and battery. The rubber O-ring helps you preinstall the lift adapter which allows for an easy placement of either the floor jack or lift.

This jack pad tool should be used with a floor jack with a flat bottomed saddle that is at least 75mm in diameter and no more than 10mm deep. Note: For the performance models, you might need to hold the pad inside the factory point holes by hand/jack to let it stay there

The description said these are made of rubber but they are actually an aluminium chunk with a thin rubber disk on top. Also arrived dirty like they have been used.

Not terribly happy with these. The description says these are made of "rubber". What I got are made of a solid piece of aluminium, with a thin rubber disc on top. Also look a bit dirty, may have been used? They are also very thick so if you are lifting a low M3 you really need a very low profile jack for these to fit.
I was expecting them to be made of rubber.
