The tyre and jack seem good quality and effective. The saddle for the jack doesn't engage with the plug for the base of the tesla. The plug is flat and the jack has a big groove to fit a more traditional car.

This space-saver spare which I purchased for my Tesla Model 3 is exactly as advertised. It saved me hundreds of dollars compared to importing the popular US equivalent. What was more impressive was the customer service. I wanted an item that was not showing in the online store. After contacting Braumach service they altered their website to include a new item and adjusted the stock level to enable my purchase. I placed the order in Sydney on Friday and it was delivered from Melbourne on Monday.

This is a good quality space saver rim and tyre for my Tesla. Everything is there to change a tyre if needed. This is especially useful in country settings were help maybe far away. Doesn’t take up as much room in the boot as a full sized spare and will get one out of what could be a tricky and time consuming situation when far from home. I like the tyre bag to keep the spare in. This option is not cheap but depends on where you are if you do get a flat tyre. I see it as extra insurance and for me is peace of mind knowing I can resolve what could be a big problem.

I've not had to test the spare as yet but bought it in prep for a couple of long west Qld/NSW trips. The spare tyre comes in a neat carry bag with everything to get it swapped over. Overall all the pieces appear to be decent quality. The rest of the tools come in a long carton, which I've now swapped out for a similar sized zippered bag to keep it both organised and (hopefully) more difficult to lose before they're needed.

The Braumach spare wheel suites my purpose very well. It is good quality and includes all the necessary tools for a wheel change, great peace of mind for being on a trip. As I like to run a car fridge in the boot, the wheel needed a solution to get it out of the way. I made a simple frame from 25 x 25 x 1.6 aluminium and plastic knock in joiners, this supports the spare wheel up against the upper shelf and allows free space underneath - works for me!

I recently purchased the Braumach spare wheel kit for a Tesla M3 RWD as past experience with non-repairable tyre damage weighed on my mind with modern the 'no spare' approach. I did a dry run with a wheel change in my driveway today (standard 18" wheels) and was very happy with the kit. Forum discussions indicated the torque of the Tesla wheel nuts could be a problem but the extendable wheel nut wrench allowed straight forward removal of the Tesla wheel nuts. The one thing that might come into play with a completely flat is getting the jack and jack puck under the low Tesla body. I am going to make a wooden wedge that would be able to be driven on with a flat tyre to raise that wheel 4 or 5 cm. I hope I never have to use this spare but I know that if I ever have to use it, it will be able to be fitted on the roadside easily.

Fantastic service from Braumach in supplying their equivalent of a Tesla Modern Spare tyre for my Tesla Model 3. These are hard to come by as couldn't find any other suppliers in Australia. I went on their wait list and was notified as soon as next batch arrived. Just as well I did because they sell out as soon as they're available. A VERY popular item for Tesla owners. Ordering was simple and delivery was prompt. Kit includes beautiful high quality alloy rim, full diameter tyre though narrower than full size with 80 Kmh speed limit. Ratchet Jack with Tesla Pads, Socket wrench, safety triangle and even gloves. Only dissappointment is the attractive heavy duty carry bag. Lifting handle tears off too easily and likewise the shoulder strap attachment points tear away from the bag. So Sad! Yep the wheel is heavy even without the tool kit inside the bag. My solution was to wrap a cheap ratchet strap around the girth of the tyre and lift it using that. Otherwise a fantastic essential for long distance Tesla drivers in remote areas of Australia. Thanks Braumach for offering these for sale.

The spacesaver wheel and tyre is excellent and fit easily. The only problem is the jack ( rated at1500kg) is very hard to wind up (the car weighing over 1800kg). I think a larger rated jack would be much better and easier to operate.

Delivered promptly, product as described. Note that even though it’s a spacesaver and is much more compact than a standard wheel it’s still quite bulky. The lack of tie down points in my Y version is a negative (some versions do have them apparently). Still, the best solution to prevent a stranding without unnecessarily destroying a tire with goo.

The kit I purchased has a solid feel and I am sure it can be relied on to provide the support needed. At this point did not yet have to use it to replace a tyre on the road but have trialed using it in the garage - it works great ! The one aspect that could be improved in the kit is the safety triangle - the one supplied appears flimsy. As impresed as I am with the kit the same could not be said for the delivery process. The package was delayed by about a week. I understand that the delivery is out of Braumach control and was the responsibility of Australia Post.

There have been suggestions online that the wheel/tyre be supplied deflated with a pump. This would allow the combination to fit in the frunk or under the boot floor space. The issue of safely tieing the wheel down has also come up.

The wheel and accesories parcels arrived very soon after ordering, trouble free process. It is as good a piece of kit as all the other reviews I read led me to expect. Here it is ready for the trip but I hope it’s all the action it ever gets. I’m optimistic about that since the other factor in all the other reviews I read is that no one had ever had to use it. All I can add is that the wheel occupies not a lot of volume in the rear of the Tesla Y and secures easily to the three child restraint points. The tools don’t take up that much space in the below floor storage, along with other items coming along for the ride just in case, like a Tesla Portable Charger which is great when trialled in the driveway but with a bit a luck will never see use along the track. either.

The only problem with the kit is a lack of a bag for the jack and tools. They are delivered in a separate box and then have nothing to store them in to keep them all together in the car.

I bought the Braumach spare wheel for my Model Y as a safety measure when travelling in the country. I don’t keep it in the car when in the city. It gives me peace of mind. I haven’t had to use it yet. Comes with everything you need , even a safety reflector triangle.

Peace of mind for my Tesla Model Y road trips has been achieved! I ordered the Braumach space saver spare tyre and kit. It arrived really promptly and looks to be of high quality. The kit has everything else I’ll need for a puncture scenario. A good quality jack, special jack pucks and so on. While I am not looking forward to my first flat tyre, at least I know I’m now well prepared.

Exact items as advertised arrived at our farm promptly very soon after the order was placed. All items were in perfect shape and well packaged. We were kept well informed of the progress of the order by yourselves and Austpost. The spare wheel and jack/ accessories are exactly what is needed in the Tesla, especially out here - rough roads and remote. The weight is manageable, especially with the fitted soft case around the wheel. Links on the soft case also allow attachment of the wheel to the back of the back seats - a great safety feature. The kit is as advertised. I carried it in the rear boot on our recent week long trip and thankfully did not have to use it. It does take up a fair amount of space in the boot but the knowledge that it was there if needed gave me considerable peace of mind.
